Quiet, secluded and rustic cabin situated right on the Elk River. Also right across from 77 miles of trail on the Elk River Trails. Plenty of outdoor space with a lovely deck. 2 Kayaks, 2 tubes and 1 canoe included. Full kitchen. No internet! and very little cell service! Great to unplug and unwind!!

Summary: Cute place! Great fishing! Kitchen had all the necessities, bathrooms were clean, and the sleeping spaces were sanitary. The locals were nice and the neighboring towns had a lot to do. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get a little "off grid"

Summary: This was such a comfy, relaxing setting. The inside of the cabin was so warm and inviting. It felt like walking into home. The outside porch and swing made for laughing and swinging and a great time together. A couple breakfasts out on the outside deck over looking Elk River was a blessing in disguise. There isn't wifi, which was so needed but just a bar out there so a phone call could be made by an excited kid that wanted to tell their Dad how cool it was there and what all there was. I didn't contact the host Brian but he made sure to let me know if we needed anything to just call. Which was wonderful to know I could if need be. I am already looking into planning a full week there, or more. The whole area is beautiful. So much to go and do. Thank you again, Oilers, for opening up your getaway to allow me to fund exactly what I needed and my son to do the same. I love the place and I wouldn't change a single thing. Its good to unplug and be outside. Much love from my family to yours. Oh, I can't forget the hammock. We loved to swing and lay to look up at the trees, sky and stars while we listened to a couple fires crackle. It was my sons favorite part. :)

Summary: Good getaway if you want to be off grid. The wife got into Yellowstone season 1&2 while we had rainstorms. The hill is no joke to get down to water. Our dogs had trouble on the stairs so we took them across to the trail for exercise. Deck is very nice and we enjoyed it when it was not raining. Outhouse is very nice.

Summary: Our family really enjoyed our stay at Fridays on the Elk. It is a great blend of relaxation with plenty to do outside! The access to the river and kayaks was perfect. Also we enjoyed the Elk River Trail with our dog. The trail a great flat walking trail along the river and the trail head is a short walk from the house. The house is well equipped with DVDs and such and along with the fire pit there was no shortage of ways to entertain ourselves in the evening. We would suggest a couch or chairs and a table in the screen in porch. It rained quite a bit while we were there and we would have liked to sit out there and eat our meals out there but the current furniture made that difficult. Overall this is a great place and we had a great time and would return.

Summary: We loved staying at this cabin, and it is exactly as listed and pictured. We are a tall family. The boys kept hitting their head on the ceilings and lights, but we were not inside much. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Summary: We had such an enjoyable stay at the cabin and are already planning another trip! Eating breakfast each morning on the peaceful deck overlooking the river was such a treat since we live in suburbia. Relaxing in the hammock, swinging on the porch swing, and having a fire pit at night all added to the amazing time we had unwinding in your home. The look on our pup Sebastian's face when I told him he could go swimming in the river was absolutely priceless! Thank you for such a great time and we cannot wait to come back!
